Inov-8 Bare Grip 200 test

Hello once again from The Outdoor Warehouse. We've been busy settling in to our new premises and making sure everything is running smoothly. We've been getting lots of new season stock in, including the latest minimal running footwear from Inov-8. These guys believe the naturally evolved running action of landing on the ball of the foot first is the best for all runners, as hell-first sends shockwaves up the whole frame. The long-term effects of this (even with air cushions or foam under the heels) constant pounding is not very good for your physiology.

Inov-8 have thus tried to eliminate all support and padding in their range of footwear, and to concentrate on minimal weight of material around the foot, mainly for grip and a little protection.

Charlie took to the Howgills in a pair of Inov-8 Bare Grip running shoes, and here's the result! A full review is coming soon to a site near you...
